Commercial and contracts support as the builder moved from early contractor involvement to an executed lump sum D&C head contract. Supported procurement of the major trade and services packages, advised on head contract clarifications, latent conditions and subcontract flow-downs, and built the head contract obligations register and start-up notice pack.
A start-up notice pack of 27 templates and 21 letters handed to the builder's project team, drafted from a 1,175-item head contract obligations register.

Brought in to prepare a Tier 1 contractor's payment schedule in anticipation of adjudication. A respondent cannot raise new reasons in its adjudication response (SOP Act s 20(2B)), so SUMIT made sure the schedule set out every reason for withholding payment, with the supporting documents the timeframe allowed. When the subcontractor applied, SUMIT prepared the further supporting documents and justification for each response, working with the contractor's in-house legal team and external counsel.
